We had matching green beaded necklaces that Jillian picked out as a gift to each of us. Almost ready for picture time by the ponds

The wedding site was set in a beautifu valley surrounded by mountain faces that towered on all sides. A bear was seen earlier wandering around the tent sites which added to the adventure wedding Jillian and Lorin were seeking.
The property is owned by family friends of the Seeks and the family said over and over how honored they were to have this wedding here.
The ceremony was perfect, simple and well-spoken. Tears fell here and there as the bride and groom recited their vows, and the way the looked at each other just... well it was love. As the officiator presented "Mr. and Mrs. Seeks" the clouds parted just slightly and the sun gleamed down on the altar... I can't make this up. It was perfect
This homemade altar was prepared by Lorin's father and brother the day before the wedding (it helps that Lorin's Dad is an architect)
The flowers were all from Pike's Market in Seattle and looked amazing! (as does Miss Tafara :)

After the ceremony we gathered for a few more majestic pictures in the nearby fields, while trying to avoid yellow jackets which seemed pretty interested in our flowers.
The reception was held in this old Hay barn, decorated with hanging laterns and birch branches with wild flowers on all the tables. We gorged ourselves on ribs and BBQ chicken. Plus the dessert was a never ending sampling of the most amazing pies ever! My favorite was strawberry rhubarb
